Seven decades have passed since the large naval engagements of World War I & II, and this American proverb remains true to this day. All of the worlds commerce and trade travel over the deep blue. And the only way to keep the world spinning is to ensure that the waterways are neutral for all ships to travel safely and freely to their destinations. The 11th Marines & Sailors who operate on sea via Gerald R. Ford-class carrier & an Expeditionary Strike Group. Acting as a joint-operating force between the US Marine Corps and the US Navy, the USS William Halsey & the 4th Expeditionary Strike Group, part of the 11th Fleet have been dispatched to deal with threats over the vast expanses of the ocean, and maintain that the waterways of the world remain in the hands of the responsible, and are policed for the dangers and scum of the virtual community.

As of now, the 11th Marines will now be deploying off the 11th Fleet for oversea operations. Currently deployed to assist US Military forces to secure and to reaffirm the armed umbrella of security over United States sovereign soil. Due to increase in armed militias and hostile organization in the territories of the Mediterranean, Middle East, Eastern Europe as well as San Andreas, the 11th Marines, along with the US Navy, will be working together to secure freedom and peace.

Visit, Board, Search and Seizure / Maritime SecurityMany waterborne threats exist on the surface of the water. Visit, Board, Search, and Seizure (VBSS) is a method of dealing with possible contacts on the ocean surface. Small teams of watercrafts and aircrafts stop and search small and big vessels for contraband, weapons, and threats, to ensure the safety of all travelers of the ocean from threats such as piracy, naval intimidation, and smuggling.

Air Supremacy SupplementAircraft carriers are the embodiment of rapid deployment and interventionary capabilities of the United States military. The amount of aircrafts that a single carrier can carry and launch at a moment's notice, surpasses the total amount of aircrafts the entire Pakistani Air Force has available in total. That's power projection at its peak, and that supplement of fighter aircraft available will ensure that US forces will have total air supremacy.

Mobile Hub for Military ForcesLiterally a mobile staging base for any and all military assets, the carrier is popularly used in the United States policy on "full-encompassing umbrella" of forces stationed around the world. Capable of housing and deploying members of each and every branch of the military, carriers are 100,000 ton, floating, military bases.

Amphibious Landing PlatformThe United States Marine Corps specializes in and is unique among other branches of the US Military, because they train and have crafted the perfect method of amphibious invasion. The USS Chesty Puller, a Wasp class Amphibious Assault ship within the 11th Fleet is the primary ship that provides these capabilities for Marine forces.

Search and Rescue (SAR)Though mostly practiced and done by the United States Coast Guard and its respective units and services, the US Navy also performs the rescue of offshore individuals from sites such as offshore oil rigs, capsized maritime vessels, and typically people who have stranded themselves far from civilization and refuge. The US Navy utilizes the training of winchmen operating equipment on aircraft or vessels, or rescue swimmers that dive into emergency scenarios to save and acquire drowning individuals.

Anti-Submarine WarfareTypically carried out by the United States Navy, ASW or anti-submarine warfare is the active surveillance and hunt for enemy or unknown underwater warships that enter a sovereign or unauthorized zone, with unknown intent. Usually, combat swimmers and sonar buoys will be deployed alongside a spotting or sonar spike, and typically has depth charges or torpedoes to follow closely afterward if the sighting is confirmed.
|
Anti-Piracy OperationsWith the increase in trade and commerce traveling through maritime means, the various blue-water navies of the world have ramped up their policing and response of piracy on the open ocean. With VBSS and warship response teams becoming more necessary and frequent, the responsibility of the fleet deployed in highly trafficked zones is to monitor shady activity and locate and deter piracy in the region.

Minesweeping/Mine-huntingMinesweeping is the art of sailing into confirmed naval minefields and eliminating the threat as a whole from the allocated regions. While mine-hunting is the act of isolating and getting rid of a specified underwater charge with as little collateral damage as possible. The difference is that minesweeping is usually whole minefields in an active war zone, versus mine-hunting that entails locating a mine maybe in a harbor or port occupied by a civilian presence, and getting rid of the bomb without disturbing the operations of that port.

DIRECT NAVAL WARFAREVital to protecting the 11th Fleet. US Navy Destroyers & Cruisers provide multi-mission offensive and defensive capabilities such as conducting Anti-Air Warfare (AAW), Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW), and Anti-Surface Warfare (ASUW). The destroyer's armament is greatly expanded for naval warfare. Destroyers & Cruisers part of the 11th Fleet primarily operates as part of missions involving carrier strike groups, surface action groups, amphibious ready groups, and underway replenishment groups. Destroyers & Cruisers within the fleet will occasionally operate independently for scouting and special warfare missions.
|
SUBMARINE WARFAREAnother addition to the 11th Fleet. Nuclear submarines use torpedoes, missiles or nuclear weapons, as well as advanced sensing equipment, to attack other submarines, ships, and land targets necessary to defending the fleet. Submarines are also used for reconnaissance and landing of special forces as well as deterrence. In the 11th Fleet, submarines are used for task force screening. The effectiveness of submarine warfare partly depends on the anti-submarine warfare carried out in response.

MAINTAIN NAVAL/TRADE SECURITY
To keep the community and ecosystem of the world from total collapse, the USS William Halsey will serve as the hub for naval operations and security, equipped with VBSS teams and gunboats.
|
EPICENTER FOR LAND INVASIONS
Marine amphibious invasions will be launched from the well deck of the USS Chesty Puller, and will act as the primary Amphibious Assault Ship.
|
ASSIST IN AIR CAMPAIGN
Being in a secure off-shore location, and having advanced radar and defense capabilities, the Halsey & Chesty Puller will help the aviation regiments secure and maintain air supremacy across the world.
