20th Maritime Raid Group
(23rd MEU) The 23rd MEU's Maritime Raid Group acts as a special operations capable unit and as the 11th's light infantry amphibious assault unit. They specialize in amphibious maneuvers and incursions through water-based areas of entry. Securing beachheads, shipping yards, and docks, they secure the landing area for the main force of Marines and get tasked with special directives when they land, like taking out armor, eliminating enemy artillery, and clearing the landing site of obstructions.

Marine Special Operations Command (MARSOC)
Marine Special Operations Command are the counter-terrorism and anti-narcotics operational detachment of SOCOM, operating under United States Marine Corps protocol and mission directives. They also cover a plethora of other mission specialties, such as foreign internal defense, direct action, close protection, and special reconnaissance. Initially, they're the SEALs of the Marine Corps.

8th Marine Raiders
The 8th is the premier raid & special operations force unit of the 11th Marine Division, the mission of the Raiders is counter-terrorism, direct action, special reconnaissance, and other various combat capabilities. Other missions are to provide tailored military combat-skills training and advisor support for identified foreign forces in order to enhance their tactical capabilities and to prepare the environment as directed by Command Staff and USSOCOM as well as the capability to form the nucleus of a Joint Special Operations Task Force.

Explosive Ordnance Disposal Group Two
US Navy EOD Group Two is responsible for rendering safe all types of ordnance, including improvised, chemical, biological, and nuclear. The Group forward deploys and fully integrates with Special Operations Forces (SOF), and other warfare units within the 11th Fleet and Marine Division.

Special Boat Unit 26 (SWCC)
Recently revived, the Special Boat Unit 26 is trained extensively in craft and weapons tactics, techniques, and procedures. Primarily tasked clandestine infiltration and exfiltration of SEALs and other special operations forces, SBU26 provides dedicated, rapid mobility in shallow water areas where large ships cannot operate. Secondary missions include; assistance to direct action, special reconnaissance, intelligence, surveillance, maritime interdiction, VBSS, and counter-terrorism, Members must be fit, highly motivated, combat-focused, and responsive in high-stress situations.

Naval Special Warfare Group 7
Already a part of the most elite Special Operations forces in the 11th Fleet, the NSWG7 is the primary naval special operations group and is divided into four different special warfare teams; SEAL Team 11, SEAL Team 12, SEAL Delivery Team 14 and SEAL Delivery Team 15. The Delivery Teams work with and assist the SBU26 with the delivery of friendly forces and the SEAL Teams perform communication, direct action, counter-terrorism, maritime interdiction, VBSS, special reconnaissance, intelligence, surveillance and high value target hunting operations. In addition, they provide training and enlistment opportunities into special operations units. Under congressional support and detachment, they are working under a joint task force within the 11th Marine Division, and are allowing members to enlist into their ranks to accomplish the most highly sensitive and highly-classified operations for the 11th Marine Division. The enlistment office is open to members. Transfers into the special operations teams will take a bit of time, and re-evaluation of individuals are required.

Naval Special Warfare Development Group
The elite of the elite. The Naval Special Warfare Development Group is the most classified and secretive fraternity of Special Operators to exist within the US Military arsenal of Special Operations forces. Under command of Joint Special Operations Command, these warriors only embark on the most important operations. Those include counter terrorism, close protection and elimination of high-value targets, sabotage of valuable resources and deep intelligence gathering of opposing factions in lieu of a major operation.

Counter-terrorismCounter-terrorism includes hostage rescue, counter-proliferation, sabotage, recapture of special purpose buildings and equipment, explosive disarming etc. Risks are usually extreme when counter-terrorism is conducted.

SPECIAL INTELLIGENCE, SURVEILLANCE AND RECONNAISSANCESmall, heavily armed long-range ISR teams that patrol deep in enemy-held territory to provide Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance. Conducted by small units of highly trained military personnel, usually from special forces units or military intelligence organizations, who operate behind enemy lines, avoiding direct combat and detection by the enemy.
Counter-piracyCounter-piracy includes naval security of shipping lanes, stationed shore-security of ports and thorough screenings of waters on or around known points of piracy. Primary form of SOF missions is direct response to piracy, such as surgical intervention and deployment against pirate targets.

Blacklist/HVT AcquisitionsCommonly referred to as a "manhunt". The process and execution of a hunt for a high-value individuals and their subsequent prosecution. Typically, a SOF strike team tends to be dispatched in sensitive situations. Sometimes this type of mission profile will be compiled with a "Combat Raid".
