(FMR) EOD1 Mike "Anvil" Fitzgerald (Mikenumba9)
Fitzgerald was exceptional in all subjects up into the end of high school. He joined the United States Army as an 89D EOD Specialist in real life and saw multiple deployments to Iraq and Kuwait. Due to his friendship with Perez and Radzikowski, he was transferred from the U.S. Army and granted special entry into Task Force Metal. He passed BUD/S and Task Force Metal Selection and became designated as a Naval Special Warfare Operator and Task Force Metal member. He was assigned to AFO Nomad as a Weapons Specialist and served several tours overseas with the unit unscathed. Prior to Nomad, during his service in Iraq, he at one point, saved the lives of his fellow soldiers while under heavy sporadic fire and risked his own life to not only defuse multiple explosives but also rendered medical aid to wounded troops and was promoted to First Sergeant for his actions. Fitzgerald became a force multiplier in Task Force Metal due to his extensive knowledge in various weapons and explosives. He is an expert in a wide range of U.S. and foreign weapons systems and explosives, from pistols and to light artillery and anti-aircraft missiles. During his time in Bolivia with Nomad, he helped the team train indigenous forces with knowledge on foreign and U.S. weapon systems and tactics in order to aide Task Force Metal's operations in Bolivia. His training of indigenous forces has helped AFO Nomad quite particularly due to proper usage of indirect fires on enemy targets.
His personality is to generally calm and confident as shown when his team was deployed overseas. |
Fitzgerald is the guy you go to when you want something destroyed. His expertise in explosive demolitions and heavy weapons helped AFO Nomad destroy various enemy targets to kingdom come. Fitzgerald also became proficient in military and civil construction and could carry out a range of projects from military fortifications to civil engineering tasks such as digging wells or building a schoolhouse. He assisted the local populace in rebuilding multiple structures such as schools and houses after the fighting was over. After Nomad, Fitzgerald went on to help Perez with leading USN EOD Group Two and assisted in various tasks as well as partook in special operations and combat patrols overseas with the unit. Fitzgerald later retired from the Navy and started working under Colonel Radzikowski in the 11th Marine Division, he started as a 1st Lieutenant and was eventually promoted to Captain. He became the primary and toughest drill instructor to date. Fitzgerald supervised training, operations, and administration of the unit. Fitzgerald eventually left the military life and decided to go into the circuit for a period of time before deciding to reenlist back into the United States Army as an 18C Special Forces Engineering Sergeant and eventually being assigned to ODA-1136 "Ronin".
Fitzgerald is the kind of person that every team wants, the one who keeps a clear head even in the midst of chaos. He's smart, executes with precision, and has a long record of doing just the right thing at just the right time. His cool under fire inspires the utmost confidence in his team. He knows when to push and when to push back, and ultimately commands the respect of all those around him. |
